Our dance with "Crush" has been an extraordinary one. He has always been the kind of dog who makes things happen. From the first look at him in the whelping box, there was something about him that drew you in. At six weeks, he had this uncanny ability of completely standing over his ground as if he owned it. He enticed us into believing in him....he propelled us to plan a special career.
Crush finished handily, winning some of the most impressive specialties on the east coast, making us proud. But when we the time came to begin a specials career, he made something else occur.....the coalition of Leigh Cohen and myself. Leigh's belief in Crush and in me, afforded opportunities to create a career that was indeed special. With the aid of handler Dona WIlliams, Crush gave both of us such wonderful and memorable highlights that will never be forgotten.
We have been fortunate in that fact that many others believed in Crush as well, and sent their beautiful bitches to be bred to him. we have been more than pleased with the results, and with 17 current champions, we look forward to his earning Register of Merit status. More importantly, we are delighted with the quality of his offspring, and what they have added to our own gene pool.
